E. Vits upright piano, Ghent, 1880

In Ghent, Vits was one of the earliest piano builders who had a major influence on the music scene in the city. This piano with an over-abundant design is one of the most peculiar pianos ever built in Ghent. With this design and decoration the builder could compete with several renowned piano builders.
