JAKUB WEIMES SQUARE PIANO, PRAEGUE, 1815

Prague was a flourishing music ciy in the 19th century under the influence of Vienna. One of the earliest and most highly regarded builders was Jakob Weimes. His instruments, made according to old traditions, can be seen in Czeh and German museums, for example in the Händel Museum in Halle.
